Responsibilities
- Design and build ABAP Cloud applications that embed LLM-driven intelligence into SAP business processes.
- Implement AI-enabled SAP extensions using RAP, event-driven patterns, and cloud-native architectures.
- Integrate LLMs, AI services, embeddings, retrieval pipelines, enterprise APIs, and SAP or non-SAP data sources.
- Build agentic workflows with tools, planners, memory, orchestration, evaluation loops, grounding strategies, and fallback logic.
- Develop chunking, indexing, context assembly, observability, telemetry, logging, and failure-analysis capabilities for production AI applications.
- Create evaluation frameworks and guardrails for authorization, privacy, safety, action boundaries, and error handling.
- Prototype quickly, incorporate business feedback, and scale AI solutions into enterprise SAP production systems.
Requirements
- At least 15 years of experience.
- 15 years of full-time education.
- Required expertise in SAP ABAP Cloud, including RAP, CDS, OData, and clean core principles.
- Hands-on experience integrating LLMs and AI services into applications.
- Experience building RAG pipelines, embeddings, and contextual retrieval.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals, including design, testing, and CI/CD.
- Ability to translate business problems into AI-enabled SAP solutions.
- Preferred experience with SAP BTP, eventing, APIs, cloud services, agent frameworks, orchestration logic, vector databases, search, semantic indexing, enterprise security, authorization, and compliance patterns.
