Responsibilities
- Envision, plan, refactor, and implement new UI features such as HUD widgets and activity feeds.
- Write robust, maintainable code with a focus on modularization.
- Optimize and fix bugs in both new and legacy systems.
- Integrate backend systems to enhance player experience.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams on innovative features.
- Work closely with backend developers to align service and client goals.
- Ensure UI meets aesthetic and functional requirements in collaboration with art and design leads.
Requirements
- Exceptional C++ programming skills.
- Experience developing features for games across multiple platforms.
- Significant experience with online multiplayer games or interactive real-time technology.
- Interest in social, frontend, and gameplay-adjacent areas of game development.
- Ability to empathize with users and balance tradeoffs in user experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Unreal Engine development experience preferred.
