Base Salary
$200k - $244k/yr
Responsibilities
- Partner with Product and Design to define and build user experiences.
- Own and evolve the frontend architecture for scalability and performance.
- Lead the design and implementation of complex frontend systems using React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
- Establish frontend engineering standards and best practices.
- Drive cross-team technical initiatives aligning frontend architecture with backend APIs.
- Identify technical risks and opportunities, providing clear direction.
- Mentor and guide frontend engineers to improve code quality and delivery practices.
- Design and implement robust testing strategies for reliability.
- Define and monitor frontend metrics to inform decisions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Expert-level proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
- Strong experience with frontend architecture and performance optimization.
- Experience building production web applications with server-side and client-side rendering.
- Deep understanding of software engineering best practices across the SDLC.
- 4+ years of industry experience in frontend or web platform development.
- Experience in cloud-based environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools is a plus.
