Base Salary
$170k - $200k/yr
Responsibilities
- Build and improve the frontend of DogByte and other internal products.
- Own projects from problem framing through production release, including technical design, sequencing, testing, rollout, and follow-through.
- Partner with Design to evolve design standards and shared component-library foundations.
- Champion frontend best practices in component architecture, performance, accessibility, testing, reliability, maintainability, and scalability.
- Partner with Product to translate hospital and internal user workflows into practical frontend solutions.
- Extend into backend and full-stack work when useful for end-to-end delivery.
- Use AI tools across code generation, review, testing, documentation, and problem-solving with sound quality and risk judgment.
- Review work across teams and provide technical feedback to improve quality, consistency, and product stability.
Requirements
- Demonstrated product judgment and ability to make technical decisions based on real-world user workflows.
- Strong frontend ownership from ambiguous problem definition through production-ready interface delivery.
- Proactive approach to reliability, maintainability, accessibility, and scalability.
- Experience collaborating with designers and working with a shared component library or design system.
- Direct experience with React, TypeScript, and Base UI.
- Experience building or configuring AI-enabled skills, tooling, workflows, or agents that improve development practices.
- At least 5 years of engineering experience in environments where developers own code through release, including CI/CD and production quality.
- Interest in working across the stack is preferred but not required.
