Base Salary
$112k - $140k/yr
Responsibilities
- Set the technical direction and engineering standards for AI solutions across the enterprise.
- Partner with business stakeholders and embedded AI leads to identify opportunities and redesign processes using AI.
- Build and demonstrate prototypes using large language models, agentic frameworks, and generative AI tools.
- Lead AI solution delivery from prototype through production with attention to scalability, reliability, observability, and maintainability.
- Design and implement multi-agent systems, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, tool-calling integrations, and context-engineering strategies.
- Define standards for prompt engineering, evaluation, monitoring, cost controls, governance, security, quality, and responsible AI.
- Integrate AI solutions with enterprise data systems, APIs, cloud data services, collaboration platforms, ERP systems, and CRM systems.
- Coach business and IT teams and mentor AI developers, program managers, and colleagues across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field plus 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, or a high school diploma plus 10+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- 3+ years of experience building and deploying AI/ML or applied AI solutions in production environments.
- Professional experience developing in Python with modern AI and agent frameworks such as Microsoft Agent Framework, LangChain, or LangGraph.
- Professional experience building and deploying agentic AI systems, including multi-agent architectures and tool-calling integrations.
- Hands-on experience with knowledge assistants or retrieval-augmented generation systems and retrieval-quality evaluation is preferred.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI Service, Azure AI Foundry, Snowflake Cortex AI, MLOps, AI observability, and model evaluation frameworks is preferred.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, Power Platform, Copilot Studio, Power Automate, and governed business-agent environments is preferred.
- Experience integrating AI with manufacturing and supply chain systems, Oracle ERP, CRM platforms, or master data management tools is preferred.
- Experience leading process-redesign workshops and translating outcomes into AI solution requirements is preferred.
- Knowledge of responsible AI, prompt injection risks, data privacy, and large language model security practices is preferred.
