Responsibilities
- Design and architect Hercules Cloud Contact Center solutions and evolve the platform’s architecture maturity.
- Collaborate with architecture peers, product teams, business partners, engineering teams, and data engineering to develop and execute solutions.
- Identify opportunities for proof-of-concepts and lead their implementation.
- Develop reusable API, event-driven, integration, security, observability, and reliability architecture patterns and reference implementations.
- Drive API-first and event-driven architectures, including API gateway patterns and asynchronous workflows.
- Architect GenAI-powered insights and AI-assisted agent coaching with safe and cost-aware LLM usage.
- Apply enterprise architecture standards, evaluate solutions against governance requirements, and provide technical guidance across environments.
- Establish feedback loops, mentor teams, provide engineering training, and influence technical direction and leadership decisions.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience delivering AWS cloud solutions with architectural accountability.
- Expertise architecting modern, scalable, maintainable, and resilient solutions.
- Experience with CI/CD and operational excellence practices aligned to DevSecFinOps, SRE, and SLOs/SLIs.
- Proficiency with Java, Python, React, AWS services, and modern application and integration architectures.
- Experience with AWS security and data governance practices, including least-privilege IAM, encryption, secrets management, auditing, monitoring, and PII handling.
- Experience with LLM and GenAI integration patterns, including RAG, tool or function calling, and structured outputs.
- Understanding of GenAI evaluation and quality practices, including hallucination reduction, offline and online evaluations, and feedback loops.
- Familiarity with the AWS Well-Architected Framework and its pillars.
- Contact center platform experience, including Amazon Connect, is preferred.
