Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and operate end-to-end cloud, on-premise, and hybrid integrations across SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Build and maintain modular iFlows using routing, splitting, gathering, message mappings, canonical modeling, and contract-first practices.
- Use Groovy scripting and persistence patterns to implement transformations, enrichment, validation, idempotency, retries, correlation, and resilience.
- Design and expose secure APIs with authentication, authorization, throttling, versioning, lifecycle management, and observability.
- Develop connector-based and event-driven integrations with third-party applications and messaging capabilities.
- Build AI-native integration agents, retrieval-grounded assistance, mapping and configuration recommendations, anomaly detection, predictive operations, and conversational troubleshooting.
- Create automated integration testing, AI evaluation harnesses, release gates, monitoring dashboards, alerts, traceability, and operational remediation workflows.
- Apply integration advisory, governance, assessment, modernization, and maturity-enablement practices across teams.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience is required.
- 15 years of full-time education is required.
- Hands-on expertise with SAP BTP Integration Suite, cloud integration, iFlows, transformation patterns, and monitoring.
- Experience implementing message mappings, routing patterns, and transformation logic across JSON, XML, CSV, and other enterprise formats.
- Practical scripting ability, such as Groovy, for integration-flow customization and performance tuning.
- Solid API design and management fundamentals, including security, throttling, lifecycle/versioning, and observability.
- AI-native delivery experience with tool-augmented workflows, retrieval-grounded outputs, measurable evaluation loops, and safe action boundaries.
- SAP PO/PI and API development experience is preferred.
- Event-driven integration, enterprise messaging, connector-based SaaS integration, legacy-platform migration, modernization, and integration governance experience are beneficial.
