Base Salary
$93k - $95k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop embedded software for mission-critical, NSA-certified cybersecurity and encryption devices using custom in-house hardware.
- Design, code, test, debug, maintain, and refresh software across long product lifecycles.
- Translate CONOPS, specifications, and requirements into software designs and test plans.
- Define the scope, schedule, and expectations for assigned work and provide technical direction when appropriate.
- Collaborate as part of a cross-functional team on complex cybersecurity and high-speed data systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering or a related science, engineering, or mathematics field.
- At least 6 months of work experience.
- Department of Defense SECRET security clearance is required at time of hire, and U.S. citizenship is required.
- Preferred experience with real-time multithreaded embedded software, preferably on Linux.
- Preferred experience with model-based development using Rhapsody, object-oriented design and programming in C++, UML, ARM virtualization extensions, hypervisors, and device drivers.
- Ability to develop software designs, code, test plans, and execute testing and debugging from concepts, specifications, or requirements.
- Experience with integrated development environment tools, version control, defect tracking, and scripting is preferred.
- Agile experience is preferred.
