Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy software tools used to manufacture Black Box’s Emerald family of KVM over IP products.
- Design and develop automation tools for validating product features.
- Work with hardware, FPGA, and customer support teams across the product lifecycle.
- Reproduce customer issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Use an AI-focused development approach in the development environment.
Requirements
- Require 2–5 years of software development experience with relevant technologies.
- Require a bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, information systems, or a related scientific or technical discipline.
- Require Python and C/C++ programming experience.
- Require Linux/UNIX knowledge, including networking, bash scripting, and TCP/IP, UDP, IGMP, and multicast socket programming.
- Require strong analytical, communication, documentation, and independent working abilities.
- Desirable experience includes JTAG, GDB, hardware-assisted debugging, REST API development, NodeJS, MPEG4, JPEG, Flask, Redis, Ansible, Clonezilla, and DisplayPort, DVI, or USB protocols.
