Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute functional, regression, integration, exploratory, and end-to-end test cases.
- Perform manual testing of workflows, edge cases, and platform configurations.
- Develop and maintain Playwright automation with TypeScript for UI and API validation.
- Identify, document, and track defects with reproduction steps and impact analysis.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams on requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Execute automated test suites, analyze results, and support CI/CD pipeline integration.
- Perform basic root cause analysis and contribute to quality improvement, test coverage, traceability, and release readiness.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in software testing.
- Strong manual testing experience across functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Hands-on Playwright automation experience with TypeScript.
- API testing experience using Postman or similar tools.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or GitHub Actions.
- Basic TypeScript/JavaScript programming knowledge or experience with other programming languages.
- Experience with defect tracking and test management tools including Jira, Zephyr, or TestRail.
- Basic SQL knowledge for database validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Preferred experience includes low-code/no-code or enterprise SaaS platforms, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, JMeter, and Cucumber.
