Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize Embedded Linux systems and Docker images for high-performance applications.
- Develop, modify, and debug Linux kernels, device drivers, and BSPs for interfaces including CAN, I2C, SPI, UART, and USB.
- Work with U-Boot and GRUB bootloaders and optimize secure boot flows.
- Integrate, customize, and optimize open-source components, core services, and network services.
- Work with Yocto/OpenEmbedded to customize Linux distributions.
- Optimize system security, hardening, and cryptographic implementations.
- Debug and analyze performance issues using JTAG, gdb, valgrind, perf, strace, and related tools.
- Collaborate with DevOps, cloud, and factory teams to define and implement technical solutions.
- Define and document design specifications, APIs, architecture, and technical guides.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers.
Requirements
- B.Tech degree and 5+ years of experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Embedded Linux, open-source software, and Docker.
- Strong proficiency in C, C++, and Shell scripting; Python and Go are preferred.
- Experience with Linux kernels, device drivers, BSPs, and U-Boot.
- Experience with GCC, Clang, LLD, Yocto, Buildroot, CMake, Makefiles, and Docker build.
- Experience with gdb, strace, ltrace, perf, valgrind, and JTAG for debugging and performance analysis.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP/UDP, HTTPS, WebSocket, MQTT, gRPC, ZMQ, CAN, Modbus, UART, and USB.
- Knowledge of secure boot, TPM, TLS, OpenSSL, OP-TEE, PKI, and secure coding guidelines.
- Experience with Git, GitHub, Bitbucket, and Jenkins.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, documentation, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
