Responsibilities
- Implement, verify, and validate powertrain ECU control software components using MIL, SIL, and PIL with MATLAB, Simulink, and TargetLink.
- Develop software-component and system test scenarios based on functional requirements.
- Analyze modeling rules and standards including MAAB, MISRA, and HIS.
- Perform scaling and auto-code generation using TargetLink and Embedded Coder.
- Analyze and resolve critical warnings and errors during TargetLink code generation.
- Conduct model and code complexity analysis and runtime-error performance analysis on production code.
- Define strategies and develop tools and scripts to improve software-development efficiency.
- Integrate powertrain software modules and generate flash, HEX, and build files.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
- Good model-based design skills using Simulink and Stateflow.
- Knowledge of auto-code generation using TargetLink and Simulink.
- Experience scaling Simulink and TargetLink models.
- Exposure to Model-in-the-Loop, Software-in-the-Loop, and Processor-in-the-Loop testing.
- Proficiency in MATLAB scripting and knowledge of embedded C.
- Experience with MATLAB, Simulink, Stateflow, dSPACE TargetLink, Polyspace, Reactis, TPT, software integration and builds, MXAM, and MKS Integrity.
- Knowledge of ISO 26262 and functional safety is an advantage.
