Responsibilities
- Use AI coding assistants daily to improve engineering productivity and output quality.
- Integrate LLM APIs into production applications while managing token limits, latency, costs, and abstraction layers.
- Apply AI-assisted testing, debugging, code review, and prompt engineering across the software delivery lifecycle.
- Evaluate AI-generated outputs for reliability, limitations, failure modes, and production readiness.
- Define and track KPIs for AI-assisted workflow effectiveness and present productivity and quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Own software delivery end-to-end from design through production support in collaboration with client engineering teams.
- Build full-stack application layers, APIs, and interfaces connecting software systems to agentic AI backends.
- Contribute reusable components, shared knowledge bases, and internal AI tooling standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Commercial production software engineering experience, or equivalent experience demonstrated through academic projects, internships, or shipped personal projects.
- Proficiency in at least one primary backend language: Python, Java, or TypeScript.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools in day-to-day engineering work and calling LLM APIs in production code.
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP; Docker; and CI/CD pipelines.
- Understanding of Agile delivery fundamentals and experience with SQL or NoSQL databases.
- Ability to validate, evaluate, and improve AI-generated outputs and apply responsible-use judgment.
- Familiarity with agentic system concepts, including LangChain, LangGraph, RAG pipelines, and application integration with agent-based architecture; production experience is preferred.
