Responsibilities
- Design, architect, and maintain scalable production-quality test infrastructure for Graphcore’s machine learning stack.
- Build automated testing systems and CI/CD pipelines that run across simulators, emulators, and physical hardware in Linux environments.
- Create representative machine learning workloads, analyze their execution, and use results to improve testing and tooling.
- Develop software architecture focused on testability, maintainability, and developer experience.
- Identify testing gaps, drive improvements, contribute to code and design reviews, and mentor junior engineers.
- Work across software teams and contribute to upstream open-source projects.
Requirements
- Strong Python skills demonstrated through designing, developing, and maintaining production-quality software.
- Software design and architecture experience with large, complex codebases and a focus on testability and long-term maintainability.
- Experience building CI/CD pipelines and automated testing systems in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with C or C++, including the ability to read, debug, and reason about low-level code.
- Ability to mentor junior engineers and influence engineering practices through constructive feedback.
- Self-directed approach to solving complex problems, identifying gaps, and driving improvements.
