Base Salary
$95k - $110k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own monitoring and alerting across supported AWS environments, including alert tuning, dashboards, coverage improvements, and incident response.
- Support AWS infrastructure, client onboarding, deployments, CI/CD workflows, operational automation, and reliability improvements.
- Investigate infrastructure, performance, availability, deployment, and monitoring issues and perform root cause analysis.
- Lead AWS cost optimization through resource cleanup, right-sizing, and usage optimization.
- Monitor SIEM and security tooling, triage and escalate security events, and support vulnerability remediation.
- Review infrastructure and deployment configurations for security risks and apply IAM, access control, logging, and least-privilege practices.
- Act as a technical escalation point and collaborate with implementation, engineering, support, and leadership teams.
- Maintain runbooks, documentation, monitoring standards, alerting expectations, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- Hands-on experience supporting AWS cloud infrastructure in production or client-facing environments.
- Experience with DevOps operations, deployment support, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, or equivalent platforms.
- Experience with security monitoring, SIEM review, vulnerability remediation, or secure cloud configuration.
- Working knowledge of AWS services, IAM, networking, and least-privilege practices.
- Ability to troubleshoot across infrastructure, applications, deployments, and security tooling.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including documenting issues and explaining technical findings.
- Preferred experience with CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK.
- Preferred experience with Docker, ECS, Kubernetes, AWS security services, vulnerability scanning, SIEM workflows, alert triage, client cloud environments, AWS cost optimization, runbooks, and automation scripting.
- Preferred certifications include AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, AWS Certified Developer, AWS Certified Security – Specialty, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional, CompTIA Security+, or CompTIA Network+.
