Responsibilities
- Architect, design, deliver, and support solutions and integrations for application development and support programs.
- Create architectural artifacts and design patterns with supportability, maintainability, security, and compliance in mind.
- Partner with business stakeholders, technical product managers, enterprise architects, leaders, and vendors to develop and prioritize solution roadmaps.
- Promote technology innovation, support modernization efforts, and identify training opportunities for development teams.
- Influence business and IT teams to improve legacy processes, practices, and operational excellence.
- Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective technology vendors and influence vendor product roadmaps.
- Provide after-hours escalation support.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in IT solution architecture working with business and IT departments.
- Experience with architecture, design, development, and implementation of enterprise solutions and integrations.
- Experience with legacy and modern on-premises and cloud applications and solutions.
- Advanced knowledge of REST principles, service-oriented architecture, and API strategy development, including API management platforms.
- Expertise with continuous integration and continuous delivery principles and workflows in cloud environments.
- Experience with an iPaaS integration solution such as MuleSoft Anypoint, IBM Cloud Pak for Integration, Boomi, or similar; experience with Docker or containerization in AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Experience working on large enterprise programs or projects, preferably in financial services.
- Ability to create architectural artifacts and design patterns and understand end-to-end systems, applications, and integrations.
- Familiarity with compliance regulations and IT and information security frameworks, with a commitment to incorporating security and compliance into decisions.
- Ability to communicate with and influence business teams, IT teams, management, and executive leadership.
- Preferred education is a bachelor's degree or higher.
- Alternatively, a high school diploma or GED with 10 years leading application development and technology teams may qualify; the preferred alternative specifies 12 years.
- Experience working with agile development teams and delivering high-quality, timely features and enhancements.
