Base Salary
$210k - $265k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop and debug sensor drivers for embedded platforms.
- Bring up IMUs, camera interfaces, LiDAR modules, and environmental sensors on new platforms.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers on board bring-up and validation.
- Implement and test I2C, SPI, UART, and CAN communication protocols.
- Write firmware for microcontrollers and embedded processors.
- Build tools and tests to validate sensor-data quality and reliability.
- Troubleshoot hardware-software integration issues.
- Contribute to firmware architecture and documentation.
Requirements
- Strong C or C++ fundamentals for embedded systems are required.
- Understanding of microcontrollers and embedded development workflows is required.
- Familiarity with basic electronics concepts, including signals, timing, and debugging, is required.
- Experience with hardware interfaces such as SPI, I2C, or UART is required.
- Ability to read datasheets and implement drivers from documentation is required.
- Strong debugging skills and attention to detail are required.
- Interest in robotics, embedded systems, or hardware-adjacent software is expected.
- Applicants must be a U.S. Person due to access requirements for U.S. export-controlled information or facilities.
- The role may require obtaining and maintaining a U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
- Passion for the defense of the United States and its allies is expected.
