Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable software architectures for complex enterprise applications in the Java environment.
- Build sophisticated applications with Java, J2EE, Spring, and Spring Boot.
- Analyze customer requirements and translate them into technical architecture and solution designs.
- Develop new features and platform solutions for complex customer requirements.
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies, frameworks, and tools into projects.
- Provide technical leadership and support developers with architecture decisions and best practices.
- Collaborate closely with customers and occasionally work on-site.
- Bridge business and IT to ensure technical solutions deliver customer value.
Requirements
- Completed degree in computer science, business informatics, business mathematics, or a comparable field.
- Several years of experience in Java software development, ideally including a senior or architecture role.
- Strong knowledge of Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, and modern software architectures.
- Experience with Hibernate and Angular or comparable frontend technologies is advantageous.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases or streaming platforms such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Apache Cassandra, or Apache Kafka.
- Experience with microservices architectures, cloud environments, or containerized applications is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills and a structured working style.
- Fluent German and English language skills.
- Willingness to travel within the DACH region.
