Base Salary

$101k - $167k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain extensive C/C++ software frameworks.
  • Diagnose and resolve software defects using debugging and performance-profiling tools.
  • Apply operating-system internals and security knowledge to create robust software designs.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers to design and implement innovative features.
  • Stay current with technical trends and broaden knowledge across software architecture, encryption, optimization, machine learning, hardware, and software business topics.

Requirements

  • At least 2 years of demonstrated C/C++ software development experience.
  • Understanding of software testing patterns and fundamentals.
  • Strong knowledge of operating-system concepts and computer security fundamentals.
  • Proficiency in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis.
  • Awareness of technical trends and interest in software architecture, encryption, optimization, machine learning, computer hardware, and software business topics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a STEM-related field.
  • Preferred: strong knowledge of Windows operating-system internals.
  • Preferred: familiarity with C# and UI frameworks such as WPF or WinForms.
  • Preferred: understanding of COM, IPC, threading, and concurrency.
  • Preferred: familiarity with x64 or ARM assembly language.
  • Preferred: master’s degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a STEM-related field.
