Responsibilities
- Integrate C++ with CATIA V6 CAA RADE APIs to extract geometric data, manipulate 3D assemblies, and execute automated CAD sequences.
- Design and deploy autonomous AI agents that explore vehicle assemblies, generate edge-case test scenarios, and prioritize high-risk structural changes.
- Build scalable backend infrastructure and internal tooling for orchestrating AI-driven tests for mechanical and software engineering teams.
- Architect a CI pipeline connecting CATIA V6 with the AI testing framework so regression suites run after PLM and vehicle design updates.
- Analyze geometric failures and systemic anomalies, resolve bugs collaboratively, and refine testing algorithms.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in computer science or a closely related computational field at an accredited university.
- Strong C++ object-oriented programming skills and understanding of 3D mathematics and vector geometry.
- Experience or advanced coursework with autonomous AI agents, large language models, or reinforcement learning frameworks for automated decision-making and workflow orchestration.
- Hands-on experience building scalable backend services or full-stack applications using Python or similar modern languages.
- Working knowledge of Git and CI/CD pipelines, with ideally prior exposure to CATIA V6 CAA RADE or complex CAD APIs.
- Strong analytical problem-solving ability and capacity to translate mechanical engineering constraints into software architecture.
Benefits
- Spring 2027 co-op runs January through August 2027 and requires full-time, 40-hour-per-week onsite availability for the full term.
- Benefits include paid vacation, paid sick leave, and medical insurance benefits.
