Responsibilities
- Develop robust and maintainable software using established software development practices and standards.
- Participate throughout the software development life cycle, including designing, implementing, and deploying scalable AI solutions.
- Optimize the computational efficiency of algorithms and software designs.
- Guide non-technical teams and consultants on robust software development practices.
- Collaborate directly with clients on new features and future product releases.
- Partner with clients across regions and industries to build and deploy innovative AI solutions.
- Develop and deliver thought leadership through scientific papers and conference leadership.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a university master’s or PhD program in computer research science, data science, statistics, operations research, or a related field.
- Experience with Python and Java or Scala.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and Keras.
- Experience with NumPy, Pandas, Apache Spark, and Dask.
- Experience with AWS, GCP, and Azure cloud platforms and their listed machine learning services.
- Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, and Jenkins.
- Experience with data visualization tools including Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly/Dash, and Tableau.
- Experience with Jupyter Notebooks, Google Colab, Git, GitHub or GitLab, MLflow, and TensorBoard.
- Experience with Flask, FastAPI, TensorFlow Serving, and Streamlit.
- Fluency in English and Italian.
- Strong problem-solving, intellectual curiosity, collaboration, and client-facing communication skills.
