Android Mobile Software Engineer (Milan)
Eight SleepResponsibilities
- Ship high-quality features for Eight Sleep’s native Android app.
- Build pixel-perfect mobile experiences with polished UI and animations.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality.
- Optimize app performance, stability, and member experience.
- Collaborate with backend, firmware, ML, R&D, growth, hardware, and executive teams.
- Build scalable and testable enterprise-grade Android software.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience shipping high-quality features for native Android apps.
- Fluent proficiency in Kotlin, Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, Flow, MVVM, and MVI.
- Experience building scalable, testable, enterprise-grade applications.
- Ability to work efficiently in a rapid-paced environment while maintaining stability.
- Preferred experience building custom UI components in Compose.
- Preferred experience building software for hardware products, particularly in health or medical fields.
- Preferred experience working with health-related apps and peripherals.
