Base Salary
$212k - $286k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end architecture, design, development, testing, analysis, and maintenance of non-embedded software systems.
- Translate system and customer requirements into software requirements, models, architectures, algorithms, interfaces, detailed designs, and traceable code and test artifacts.
- Oversee software system analyses and research to identify risks, opportunities, technology gaps, and adoption of emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and regulatory changes.
- Direct software integration, enhancement, optimization, debugging, verification, and performance activities.
- Establish, monitor, and improve software processes, tools, and key performance indicators.
- Manage and review user documentation and software support processes.
- Support software project planning, execution, contractual compliance, and alignment with project plans and standards.
- Monitor internal team and supplier performance for compliance with project plans, industry standards, and contractual requirements.
- Provide technical leadership to align designs, requirements, and implementation with customer, operational, performance, safety, and certification objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Active U.S. Top Secret security clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information; U.S. citizenship is required.
- At least 10 years of software development lifecycle experience, including requirements analysis, design, coding, integration, and testing.
- At least 10 years of experience with Java, C++, Angular, React.js, HTML, and CSS.
- At least 10 years of experience developing, documenting, and maintaining software architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs.
- At least 5 years of experience leading projects and/or individuals in software development lifecycle tasks.
- At least 5 years of experience developing software products in a cloud environment.
- Preferred qualifications include a relevant Bachelor of Science degree with 14+ years of related experience, a bachelor’s degree with 18+ years of directly related experience, or 22+ years of related experience.
- Preferred qualifications include embedded software architecture, Agile software development, verification and validation, software quality and safety practices, software architecture methodologies, systems integration, engineering processes, specification change control, and product certification experience.
- Candidates must satisfy Boeing’s Conflict of Interest assessment process, complete the required CodeVue technical assessment, and meet U.S. export control requirements.
