Base Salary
$170k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop software applications as web services using Java, Node.js, Angular with TypeScript, Spring Boot with Hibernate, and messaging technologies.
- Maintain applications and web services interacting with Postgres, MySQL, relational databases, and AWS cloud technologies.
- Develop, upgrade, and maintain APIs and search services using REST-like APIs.
- Use XML and JSON for data transfer and metadata management, and write SQL queries for database interaction.
- Improve search, website usability, and accessibility through enterprise capabilities.
- Collaborate with business analysts, UX designers, and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance for scalability and security, troubleshoot defects, and maintain software quality and reliability.
- Participate in code reviews, continuous improvement, and recommendations for emerging technology enhancements.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, preferably from the client.
- 10+ years of related application development experience, emphasizing leadership of engineering efforts across the application stack.
- Experience with Java, Python, and front-end development using Angular.
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Postgres and MySQL and/or cloud technologies such as AWS.
- Experience developing APIs and working with REST-like APIs, including writing SQL queries.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate project requirements into technical solutions.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving software defects and working in an Agile environment.
- Experience with microservices architecture, GitHub or GitLab, and Jenkins is desired.
- Knowledge of coding, testing, and deployment best practices and experience improving search, usability, and accessibility are desired.
