Base Salary

$170k - $195k/yr

Responsibilities

Develop software applications as web services using Java, Node.js, Angular with TypeScript, Spring Boot with Hibernate, and messaging technologies.
Maintain applications and web services interacting with Postgres, MySQL, relational databases, and AWS cloud technologies.
Develop, upgrade, and maintain APIs and search services using REST-like APIs.
Use XML and JSON for data transfer and metadata management, and write SQL queries for database interaction.
Improve search, website usability, and accessibility through enterprise capabilities.
Collaborate with business analysts, UX designers, and developers to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Optimize application performance for scalability and security, troubleshoot defects, and maintain software quality and reliability.
Participate in code reviews, continuous improvement, and recommendations for emerging technology enhancements.

Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph, preferably from the client.
10+ years of related application development experience, emphasizing leadership of engineering efforts across the application stack.
Experience with Java, Python, and front-end development using Angular.
Familiarity with relational databases such as Postgres and MySQL and/or cloud technologies such as AWS.
Experience developing APIs and working with REST-like APIs, including writing SQL queries.
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and translate project requirements into technical solutions.
Experience troubleshooting and resolving software defects and working in an Agile environment.
Experience with microservices architecture, GitHub or GitLab, and Jenkins is desired.
Knowledge of coding, testing, and deployment best practices and experience improving search, usability, and accessibility are desired.
