Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, deploy, and support software that maintains the health and availability of a globally deployed fleet of ground terminals.
- Build and scale data pipelines and monitoring for condition monitoring, predictive maintenance, and automated remediation.
- Develop automation for ground systems software integration, testing, calibration, and release.
- Own software design, testing, deployment, mission integration, and operational support across the full development lifecycle.
- Design, implement, optimize, and operate systems supporting the uptime and performance of Leo ground terminals.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- Programming experience with at least one software programming language.
- Preferred: at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.
- Preferred: bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
- Preferred: experience with distributed systems and a mix of hardware and software troubleshooting.
- Preferred: experience building data pipelines or services on AWS, such as DynamoDB, record streaming, or data lakes, with Python.
