Base Salary
$146k - $246k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own the Finance & Strategy data foundation and AI roadmap, including architecture, modeling strategy, system gap analysis, and ongoing Workday Adaptive Planning support.
- Design, build, and maintain pipelines and integrations connecting Databricks, NetSuite, Workday, Adaptive, Salesforce, and other financial systems.
- Build agentic close capabilities and AI-powered tools for forecasting, scenario planning, variance and driver analysis, workforce planning, and management reporting.
- Lead cross-functional alignment across Finance, BizTech, PeopleOps, Accounting, and other teams on shared system workstreams.
- Evaluate and implement emerging AI, automation, and data infrastructure technologies.
- Establish data modeling, infrastructure, data quality, governance, and access-control practices while providing documentation, training, technical support, and troubleshooting.
- Measure the impact of solutions on close cycle time, forecast accuracy, adoption, and operational efficiency.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting, or comparable work experience.
- 8+ years of experience building and scaling production-grade data pipelines, integrations, and enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience with LLM applications, including prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic workflows, and evaluation.
- Proficiency in Python for scripting, data manipulation, and API interactions.
- Experience with SQL databases, data modeling, and query optimization.
- Experience with data platforms, warehouses, and enterprise systems such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, NetSuite, Workday, Adaptive, Salesforce, Google Suite, and Slack.
- Working knowledge of financial planning, forecasting, and close processes.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including presenting to senior management.
- Preferred experience building production agentic systems with orchestration frameworks, tool use, and evaluation techniques beyond prompt engineering.
- Preferred experience in a high-growth or public-company finance environment and the ability to operate amid ambiguity.
