Base Salary
$141k - $212k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, modify, and validate embedded and cloud-edge software, applications, and specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and software requirements and implement software features for products and systems.
- Perform coding, unit testing, debugging, integration, code reviews, regression testing, and issue triage.
- Collaborate with systems, hardware, architecture, test, and other project teams.
- Write technical software documentation.
- Lead projects or people by setting expectations, coaching others, and providing constructive feedback.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field and 4+ years of software engineering or related work experience; or a master's degree and 3+ years; or a PhD and 2+ years.
- 2+ years of work experience with programming languages such as C, C++, Java, or Python.
- Preferred: 7+ years of programming-language experience.
- Preferred: 4+ years of experience with database management software.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with APIs.
- Preferred: 2+ years of experience with Git, Perforce, or a source code management system.
