Responsibilities
- Build unified solutions for product feature requirements across product lines.
- Construct and support libraries and services used by application development teams.
- Own holistic product performance across application, operating system, and driver layers.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, application development, and product design teams.
- Contribute to robust product architecture and diagnose systems-level and hardware issues.
- Set up and debug build systems using tools such as CMake and BitBake.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of embedded Linux experience.
- Strong programming experience with C, C++, Python, and scripting including Bash.
- Experience with Linux OS build toolchains such as Buildroot and Yocto.
- Understanding of system-level software from application code to hardware.
- Knowledge of USB, Ethernet, UART, SPI, and I2C interfaces.
- Experience profiling and tracing real-time applications and debugging with gdb and remote debug tools.
- Experience with Git version control and the ability to interpret schematics, datasheets, and application notes.
- Preferred qualifications include ARM and ARM NEON optimization, Linux kernel development and tuning, systemd configuration, Agile/Scrum/XP experience, a computer science degree-level qualification, music experience, and international travel availability.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and collaborative working skills.
