Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead application design and development efforts from architecture through deployment, post-go-live support, and ongoing operations.
- Build and maintain production-grade Java and Spring Boot backend systems using microservices architectures.
- Contribute to frontend applications with Angular and support comprehensive UI testing.
- Analyze and resolve coding, application performance, design, dependency, and defect issues.
- Serve as a development lead and key decision maker in design discussions and technical standards.
- Define and execute test plans, software quality practices, implementation plans, and development processes.
- Collaborate with technology teams, business stakeholders, industry vendors, and user experience partners.
- Manage risks, dependencies, escalations, project delivery metrics, and concurrent project execution.
- Mentor peers, share technical knowledge, and improve architecture, build, delivery, and production operations processes.
- Ensure development and business decisions address security, compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of development experience with strong hands-on Java backend engineering expertise.
- Deep proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, including production-grade microservices development.
- Experience building frontend applications with Angular, JavaScript, and functional programming patterns.
- Experience applying DevSecOps and security-first development practices and using CI/CD tooling.
- Experience writing and maintaining comprehensive UI tests and using JUnit, Cucumber, Jasmine, or Mocha.
- Knowledge of relational databases such as MSSQL or Oracle, or NoSQL platforms.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes, including container deployment.
- Understanding of standard and enterprise design patterns, database concepts, and software lifecycle practices.
- Preferred experience with high-speed messaging platforms such as Kafka.
- Demonstrated leadership, project management, communication, ownership, and independent execution skills.
- Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience.

- Base salary range of $107,120 to $160,680, plus potential discretionary and formulaic incentive and retention awards.
