Responsibilities

  • Design and execute functional, integration, API, contract, automated, exploratory, and end-to-end tests for personalization, recommendation, experimentation, and consumer intelligence capabilities.
  • Build and maintain automated test suites covering API, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
  • Partner with Software Engineers, Lead Engineers, Product Owners, and Data Engineers to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Validate recommendation outputs, personalization rules, consumer segmentation, and experimentation journeys through automated and exploratory testing.
  • Create and manage test data and validation scenarios for personalized consumer experiences.
  • Ensure consistent and reliable experiences across browsers, devices, and digital consumer journeys.
  • Use AI-assisted quality engineering tools and practices to improve test coverage, regression efficiency, and defect detection.
  • Continuously improve automation coverage, test reliability, and quality engineering practices.

Requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience testing large-scale distributed backend systems on cloud-native platforms related to personalization capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Cypress, Appium, or equivalent testing tools; Playwright is preferred.
  • Experience with API testing and contract testing.
  • Experience with test data management and validating personalization-related capabilities.
  • Ability to define an A/B testing approach.
  • Experience with cross-browser testing and tooling such as BrowserStack is preferred.
  • Experience using coding agents, LLMs, or AI-assisted engineering tools to improve software delivery and developer productivity.
  • Experience in eCommerce, retail, or consumer digital products is strongly preferred.
