Responsibilities
- Develop Python software for hardware update, testing, and inventory systems.
- Build complex React and TypeScript administrative interfaces or manage Proxmox clusters, secrets, and automated deployments.
- Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code, automation pipelines, and service deployments using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Bridge hardware-level data collection with web APIs and application systems.
- Design and deliver milestones for the next-generation infrastructure architecture.
- Optimize, refactor, and test existing code to maintain stability during long-running hardware validation tests.
- Participate in code reviews, Scrum ceremonies, architecture discussions, and collaborative technical planning.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of experience writing structured application code in Python.
- Strong software engineering fundamentals in clean code, architecture, testing, API design, and robust backend systems.
- Professional experience building responsive web applications with React and TypeScript, or experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation pipelines.
- For the frontend track, familiarity with state management, data-fetching patterns, asynchronous states, long-polling, or real-time updates.
- For the DevOps/IaC track, experience with Ansible, Terraform, virtualized clusters, GitLab CI/CD workflows, Docker containers, Kubernetes, service VMs, or system-level automation.
- Linux systems administration, networking protocols, bare-metal provisioning, custom Linux images, physical hardware labs, or configuration management experience is a plus.
- Ability to work autonomously, communicate effectively, collaborate across teams, solve problems analytically, and learn new technologies.
