Responsibilities
- Build robust software solutions for complex business problems in margin and collateral technology.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle while working closely with product teams and users.
- Develop software using Java, React and/or Python and build APIs with frameworks such as Spring.
- Apply test-driven development, clean-code principles, data structures, algorithms, and SQL.
- Contribute to engineering culture and independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or an engineering field involving software programming or systems engineering.
- Hands-on professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Java, React and/or Python.
- Strong hands-on experience building APIs with frameworks such as Spring.
- Proficiency with data structures, algorithms, and SQL.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment.
- Preferred: experience in investment banking or financial services.
- Preferred: experience with AWS, Kafka, Kubernetes, S3, DynamoDB, MongoDB, or other NoSQL databases.
