Responsibilities
- Design, build, test, and maintain full-stack enterprise applications with AI-enabled capabilities.
- Develop and integrate Generative AI features using LLMs, prompt engineering, orchestration, RAG, semantic search, model evaluation, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop workflows.
- Build user interfaces, APIs, backend services, microservices, and integration layers for scalable applications.
- Translate business, risk, and operational requirements into secure, scalable, maintainable, and measurable technical solutions.
- Establish practices for AI-enabled application lifecycle management, performance monitoring, evaluation, value tracking, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate on architecture, code reviews, troubleshooting, documentation, and delivery with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders.
- Support cloud-native application development using Microsoft Azure and API-driven architectures.
- Contribute reusable AI engineering patterns, scalable AI assets, data enrichment opportunities, modernization paths, and governance practices.
- Provide technical guidance to business, technology, risk, security, and product leaders.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of industry experience designing and developing full-stack applications, including frontend, backend, APIs, databases, integration layers, or cloud platforms.
- At least 3 years of experience delivering AI-enabled applications, preferably in financial services, insurance, risk, or another highly regulated environment.
- At least 3 years of hands-on Generative and Agentic AI experience, including LLMs, prompt engineering, RAG, AI governance, and responsible AI practices.
- Strong hands-on Python experience for backend development, API integration, or AI-enabled application workflows.
- Strong experience building modern frontend and full-stack web applications with React JS.
- Experience designing, building, and supporting REST APIs, backend services, microservices, and enterprise integration layers.
- Experience with relational databases such as Azure SQL and PostgreSQL, including SQL queries, application integration, and data modeling concepts.
- Practical experience developing or supporting cloud-based applications with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with secure coding, production support, logging, and monitoring practices.
