Responsibilities
- Design and develop test plans and test cases based on functional, non-functional, and design specifications.
- Execute test cases, analyze and report results, and participate in test planning, design reviews, project scoping, and technical documentation reviews.
- Perform software engineering and quality assurance activities for feature development, maintenance, and support.
- Create, trigger, monitor, and control automated test suites while identifying issues and gaps for continuous improvement.
- Conduct integration, regression, unit, automation, and performance testing, including root cause analysis, error segmentation, trend analysis, and data analysis.
- Develop tools and frameworks to support reliable and scalable test execution.
- Collaborate with Engineering teams in Agile/Scrum and DevOps environments to support project delivery.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience.
- 4+ years of experience designing and implementing test specifications for agile software projects of significant size and complexity.
- Experience with web, iOS, and Android user experience patterns on real devices.
- Experience testing customer-facing applications.
- Understanding of web services, mobile applications, and website functionality.
- Experience developing and executing test plans and test scripts.
- Experience with unit testing and Test Driven Development.
- Experience with QA tools including Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, and JMeter.
- Experience with QA automation and testing tools including BrowserStack, Appium, Selenium WebDriver, and BlazeMeter.
- Knowledge of report-tracking tools such as JIRA and design tools such as Figma.
- Understanding of cloud computing and automation using AWS.
- Experience with API tools such as Postman and debugging tools such as Fiddler.
- Beginning to intermediate experience using MongoDB.
- Basic knowledge of programming languages such as Python and Java.
- Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
