Responsibilities
- Design and implement production security controls in AI inference gateways, platforms, and developer tooling.
- Embed secure defaults, governed identities, and reliable audit trails into existing engineering systems.
- Define standards for AI systems, including agent identity, permissions, telemetry, provenance, and integrity.
- Secure developer harnesses, plugins, dependencies, models, secrets, and vulnerability-management processes.
- Threat model platform, gateway, agent, identity, permissioning, and AI supply-chain risks, then deliver remediation.
- Identify control gaps, prioritize remediation, document decisions, and own technical direction for the AI Security function.
Requirements
- Eight or more years of experience in security engineering, software engineering, platform engineering, or a closely related technical discipline.
- Strong academic record in computer science or software engineering.
- Ability to build and ship security controls in production systems rather than only review them.
- Depth in at least one of application security, platform and cloud security, or security architecture, with working breadth across the others.
- Experience with LLM platforms, inference gateways, or agent frameworks.
- Hands-on experience securing cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to make sound control decisions in areas with incomplete information and no established practice.
- Fluent day-to-day use of coding agents.
- Experience or willingness to learn in regulated or high-security environments, detection engineering, incident response, or establishing new security functions is desirable.
