Base Salary
$165k - $195k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own a TnT subdomain and take technical responsibility for a component.
- Drive features end-to-end from design to monitoring in production.
- Design systems with observability, rollback paths, and incremental delivery in mind.
- Collaborate with Product and Design to scope and prioritize work.
- Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and technical standards.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience designing and building backend services in production.
- Solid understanding of distributed systems fundamentals.
- Experience building APIs and data models for other teams or customers.
- Proficiency in at least one modern backend language such as TypeScript/Node, Go, Rust, or Java.
- Experience with relational databases and at least one other data store type.
- Hands-on ownership of services in production, including on-call and incident response.
- Familiarity with observability tooling and SLOs.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
