Responsibilities
- Design and architect connectors for the Neo4j database.
- Build and maintain connectors for a variety of technologies and environments.
- Design streaming and data-ingestion APIs that improve Neo4j usability and performance.
- Collaborate across teams to enhance core database features when necessary.
- Occasionally build frontend interfaces for connectors or integrations requiring user interaction.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience developing production-level software.
- Experience designing multithreaded systems and algorithms.
- Hands-on backend programming experience with Kotlin, Java, or Go.
- Ideally, professional experience with distributed event streaming platforms such as Apache Kafka.
- Ideally, experience with data processing and analytics platforms such as Apache Spark or Apache Beam.
- Ideally, experience with cloud data warehouses such as AWS Redshift, GCP BigQuery, or Azure Synapse.
- Nice to have experience with graph databases such as Neo4j or other SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Nice to have frontend development experience with React and TypeScript.
