Base Salary

Responsibilities
- Lead a portfolio of diverse technology projects and a team of developers building distributed microservices and full-stack systems.
- Design and implement large-scale, distributed, cloud-native systems with high reliability and performance requirements.
- Deliver cloud-based solutions and an integrated developer tool ecosystem that improves developer productivity and experience.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple teams and shape system architecture, platform roadmaps, and shared-services strategy.
- Use Java, Scala, Python, Go, Node.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, databases, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS tools and services.
- Mentor engineers, lead architectural design reviews, establish coding standards and design patterns, and influence enterprise-wide technical standards.
- Implement observability and reliability practices and use observability to identify and optimize performance bottlenecks.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or a related quantitative field is required.
- At least 6 years of software engineering experience is required; internship experience does not apply.
- At least 3 years of experience with public cloud platforms, cloud-based productivity tools, or virtualization technologies is required.
- Preferred qualifications include a master’s degree, 9+ years coding with Java or Python, and 5+ years contributing to open-source frameworks.
- Preferred experience includes 5+ years with front-end JavaScript or TypeScript frameworks and synchronous and asynchronous APIs.
- Preferred experience includes 4+ years with databases, cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, automated testing frameworks, Git-based version control, and troubleshooting cloud environments.
- Preferred experience includes mentoring senior engineers, leading architectural reviews, establishing coding standards, implementing observability and reliability practices, and influencing technology strategy.
- Experience with modern AI-based coding tools, interactive AI tooling beyond basic code completion, cross-functional engineering efforts, and large-scale technical initiatives is preferred.
