Base Salary
$180k - $280k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own major features end-to-end, from architecture decisions through production release.
- Build reliable and performant full-stack systems using Python/Django, React, and AWS.
- Ship AI-powered functionality for legal workflows and law firms.
- Collaborate with product, operations, and design to define and deliver product capabilities.
- Help shape the technical team’s culture, standards, and engineering practices.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience building reliable, secure software in production.
- Full-stack software engineering experience across frontend and backend systems.
- Proficiency in Python and React, or demonstrably fast ability to learn new technology stacks.
- Track record of writing clean, testable, and maintainable code.
- Preferred: experience with Django, AWS, or OpenAI APIs.
- Preferred: experience at an early-stage startup, particularly establishing engineering standards.
- Preferred: familiarity with legal technology, document processing, or data-heavy workflows.
