Base Salary
$130k - $165k/yr
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of applications using modern programming languages and frameworks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness while identifying bottlenecks and fixing bugs.
- Develop scalable and fault-tolerant applications using distributed systems, microservices, cloud services, and containerization.
- Maintain code quality, organization, and automation, including unit and integration tests.
- Develop user interfaces using modern front-end technologies.
- Mentor junior developers, provide technical guidance, and contribute to the platform’s development direction.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of strong Java experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying critical and complex projects.
- Strong Java experience with concurrent and distributed systems, including Java Streams API.
- At least 5 years of advanced experience with Spring-based technologies such as Spring Boot and Spring Cloud, plus caching frameworks such as Hazelcast.
- At least 5 years of SQL knowledge and experience, including SQL queries and data-model understanding.
- Experience designing and implementing microservices-based solutions and writing unit and integration tests.
- Exposure to AWS cloud services including EC2, ECS, Load Balancer, Security Group, Lambda, and S3.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.
