Responsibilities
- Develop basic to moderately complex application code using front-end or back-end programming languages.
- Create program specifications, application documentation, implementation plans, and other software development deliverables.
- Analyze, modify, debug, maintain, implement, and validate application code and code changes.
- Perform unit testing, application testing, and validation, and implement corrective measures for code deficiencies.
- Collaborate with business and technology teams on internal and external client software solutions.
- Apply software development procedures, methodologies, application standards, and PCI security compliance requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, Management Information Systems, or a related field.
- Typically at least 2 years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Experience with two or more modern enterprise programming languages, APIs, external services, relational databases, and NoSQL databases.
- Preferred: 4 or more years of professional experience in coding, designing, developing, and analyzing data.
- Preferred: experience with IBM Rational Tools.
- Knowledge of applicable operating systems, databases, back-end and front-end technologies, web frameworks, development tools, and mobile development technologies.
