Base Salary
$145k - $145k/yr
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud solutions across hybrid-cloud environments.
- Improve cloud governance, security, and the operating model for public-cloud growth.
- Evaluate proposed solution architectures and provide recommendations.
- Provision, configure, and monitor Kubernetes, Spark, Kafka, and large-scale distributed database technologies.
- Automate infrastructure management and development pipelines using Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab.
- Explore cloud-native and container ecosystem technologies.
- Monitor systems, clusters, and cloud deployments to detect errors and assess performance.
- Create and maintain performant and reliable production systems while partnering with Trading, Development, Infrastructure, and Operations teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in Platform Engineering, Cloud Engineering, SRE, DevOps, or related infrastructure roles.
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect certification is preferred.
- Deep experience deploying, operating, and scaling production Kubernetes platforms, including Amazon EKS.
- Strong AWS cloud infrastructure expertise; Google Cloud experience is a plus.
- Advanced Terraform and infrastructure-as-code expertise, including reusable modules, state management, and platform automation.
- Experience building and operating highly available, scalable, and secure cloud-native platforms.
- Strong knowledge of observability, including monitoring, logging, alerting, and operational troubleshooting.
- Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Strong Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills in distributed production environments.
- Proficiency in automation and scripting with Python, Bash, or similar languages.
- Experience with Amazon RDS, Aurora, Redshift, and DynamoDB.
- Ability to lead technical initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and mentor engineers.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately to changing market conditions and solve math and coding problems.
