Base Salary
$144k - $194k/yr
Responsibilities
- Develop, build, deploy, and operate AWS Frontier AI services across GovCloud and isolated regions.
- Build tools and solutions in Java or Python for large-scale distributed systems and operational automation.
- Troubleshoot complex Linux, networking, software, and systems issues and lead technical post-mortem discussions.
- Design and deploy solutions across thousands of devices while improving resiliency, scalability, and operational processes.
- Influence technical strategy and architecture, make data-driven decisions, and lead resolution of cross-functional technical issues.
- Support security campaigns, host patching, blocked-software activities, and service parity programs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience.
- At least 2 years of non-internship experience designing or architecting new and existing systems, including design patterns, reliability, and scaling.
- At least 1 year of experience designing and developing large-scale, multi-tiered, multi-threaded, embedded, or distributed applications, tools, systems, or services using C#, C++, Java, or Perl.
- Current, active US Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or above; the role also requires maintaining TS/SCI with polygraph or an equivalent agency-specific clearance.
- Preferred qualifications include a computer science bachelor's degree or equivalent and at least 3 years of full software development lifecycle experience covering coding standards, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.
