Base Salary
$150k - $300k/yr
Responsibilities
- Own product features from scoping and design through deployment, production iteration, and measurement.
- Design APIs and data models and implement frontend and backend code.
- Build user-facing experiences that balance usability and performance.
- Integrate LLM and AI capabilities into reliable product flows.
- Design and maintain scalable backend services, data schemas, and operational tooling.
- Collaborate with founders, product, and design to prioritize work and define success metrics.
- Participate in architecture and roadmap discussions and make pragmatic tradeoffs for early-stage growth.
Requirements
- 2 to 8 years of software engineering experience with a track record of shipping user-facing products.
- Strong full-stack skills with TypeScript and React or Next.js on the frontend and Python or Node.js for backend development.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP.
- Production-focused experience integrating LLMs or AI services into applications, rather than conducting AI research.
- Clear product sense and ability to translate user problems into measurable, practical solutions.
- Comfort working across frontend, backend, and DevOps in small, ambiguous environments.
- Experience with multi-tenant or enterprise-ready systems, API design, or real-time or high-throughput applications is preferred.
- Background in healthcare, fintech, legal, or complex internal tooling is preferred.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows is preferred.
