Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain infrastructure as code using AWS CDK and CloudFormation.
- Lead end-to-end migration of workloads to AWS while keeping current infrastructure stable.
- Build internal developer platforms and tooling to reduce administrative overhead.
- Partner with development teams to architect secure and highly available applications.
- Own the hosting infrastructure for the WordPress site, ensuring uptime and performance.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation for system availability and incident response.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years deploying and operating high-traffic, scalable web applications.
- At least 5 years hands-on with AWS Serverless services like Cognito and Lambda.
- Proven mastery of TypeScript and AWS CDK for infrastructure automation.
- Advanced scripting skills in Linux/Unix environments using Shell, Python, or Ruby.
- Expert knowledge of CI/CD tooling and pipeline design.
- Experience defining Multi-Account cloud strategies using Amazon Organizations.
- Hands-on exposure to application and infrastructure monitoring platforms.
- Practical experience with FinOps for cost optimization.
- Ownership mindset regarding system reliability and performance.
