Responsibilities
- Implement, maintain, and enhance pricing tools across various platforms.
- Follow AGCS Hx Renew build and testing standards.
- Coordinate with third-party providers delivering supplementary development.
- Work with Pricing, Underwriting, and IT teams to understand and deliver requirements.
- Integrate pricing tools with the AGCS IT landscape.
- Maintain and develop pricing tool design principles.
- Deliver peer-reviewed and comprehensively tested pricing updates.
- Build long-term working relationships with stakeholders supporting the pricing tools.
- Collaborate across the Global Pricing team and AGCS departments.
Requirements
- At least two years of development experience, including design and production-environment build work, with Python and/or Hx Renew; alternatively, a computer science background with procedural programming experience and willingness to learn Python.
- Familiarity with a range of Python and/or Hx Renew features and the ability to learn new languages and approaches quickly.
- Previous insurance industry experience is strongly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of mathematical techniques; an actuarial background is advantageous.
- Exposure to data visualization and/or wider user interface design is advantageous.
- Ability to build systematic quality controls, solve problems, communicate technical information to non-technical audiences, and build strong stakeholder relationships.
- Experience partnering with Pricing, Underwriting, and IT teams is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in an international and virtual environment.
- Genuine interest in Information Technology and Generative Artificial Intelligence is valued.
