Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain autonomy development tools focused on multi-agent mission planning, coordination, and training workflows.
  • Build and validate reference multi-agent UAV autonomy from simulation through deployment on real airframes.
  • Define simulation, tuning, and validation workflows to address differences between simulated and real flight behavior.
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based product and engineering teams on shared roadmaps.
  • Contribute to system-level design and architecture for scalable, reliable, and high-performance systems.
  • Lead technical deep dives with Korean defense customers and translate operational requirements into product specifications and roadmap input.
  • Guide customers in using the tools to develop multi-agent unmanned systems.
  • Mentor engineers and share autonomy domain knowledge across the Korea team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of professional engineering experience or equivalent research experience in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.
  • Hands-on experience developing and flying real unmanned aircraft or researching and engineering multi-agent optimization and control algorithms.
  • Programming proficiency in Python, C++, or similar languages.
  • Experience working on complex, multidisciplinary projects in collaborative teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for daily collaboration with the U.S. team and documentation.
  • Ability to lead customer-facing technical discussions, elicit requirements, challenge assumptions, and explain design trade-offs.
  • Preferred experience in both unmanned aerial systems development and multi-agent optimization and control.
  • Preferred familiarity with PX4, ArduPilot, ground control systems, data links, ATR, drone swarming, path planning, aerospace control systems, simulation platforms, ML training infrastructure, developer tooling, and closed-network or air-gapped defense deployments.
  • Professional fluency in Korean is preferred.
