Base Salary

$111k - $175k/yr

Responsibilities

  • Integrate Workday, Greenhouse, Gem, BrightHire, and other external systems using production-grade APIs, OAuth, webhooks, rate-limit handling, and error handling.
  • Build a governed talent intelligence repository and context layer with appropriate permissions and access controls.
  • Develop agentic solutions for reporting, workflow bottleneck visibility, pipeline self-service, candidate rediscovery, interview-quality signals, offer-risk prediction, and recruiter capacity modeling.
  • Evaluate build-versus-buy options for the talent technology stack and partner with People Analytics, HRIS, and IT teams.
  • Own experimentation and monitoring for outbound sourcing and offer effectiveness, including messaging, timing, sequencing, conversion rates, benchmarks, and test design.
  • Demonstrate previously built systems and help define the roadmap for the new talent engineering function.

Requirements

  • Production experience building solutions that integrate external systems, including APIs, OAuth, webhooks, rate limits, and error handling.
  • Strong scripting or backend development skills in Python or TypeScript/Node.
  • Proficiency with SQL and querying or joining data across systems.
  • Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and tool/function-calling patterns.
  • Experience designing and analyzing structured A/B or multivariate experiments and distinguishing meaningful signals from noise.
  • Sound judgment around permissions and access-control design.
  • Comfort operating in an ambiguous 0-to-1 environment and shaping a technical roadmap.
  • Recruiting or Talent Acquisition experience is helpful but not required.
  • Experience in analytics engineering, automation engineering, or solutions engineering is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Greenhouse, Workday, Gem, BrightHire, or similar recruiting and HR systems is a plus.
  • Direct experience with MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a strong plus.
