Responsibilities
- Develop high-quality C code for the Linux kernel and open-source environments.
- Collaborate with global teams to debug and deliver networking solutions.
- Drive complex technical issues to closure across team boundaries.
- Lead the engineering process from requirements refinement through implementation, peer review, testing, and post-GA support.
- Develop Linux kernel networking drivers and userspace libraries for NVIDIA ConnectX and BlueField network adapters.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of proven experience in the field.
- Native C programming experience.
- Experience with Linux kernel-level programming.
- Deep understanding of networking drivers, device drivers, Linux kernel internals, userspace/kernel interactions, and software/hardware interaction.
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, L2/L3 protocols, and network device driver architecture.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, debugging, self-management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in data structures and operating-system internals is preferred.
- Previous upstream Linux kernel and open-source contributions are preferred.
- Hands-on expertise with RDMA and RoCE is preferred.
- A master’s degree or similar Computer Science experience is advantageous.
