Base Salary
$210k - $350k/yr
Responsibilities
- Secure Giga’s platform end-to-end, including customer-facing APIs, real-time conversation systems, and customer data.
- Build role-based access controls, permissions models, and audit logging.
- Develop security tooling and automation for vulnerability scanning, dependency auditing, secrets management, and automated detection.
- Write production-quality security code and tooling while shaping secure engineering practices.
- Own security across application, infrastructure, and cloud layers and influence system architecture.
- Partner with backend and infrastructure engineers to integrate security into the platform from the start.
- Address AI-agent security challenges including prompt injection and data leakage.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience in security engineering.
- Strong software engineering foundation and ability to write production-quality code.
- Experience securing production systems handling sensitive data.
- Comfort across application security, infrastructure security, and cloud security.
- Ability to build security tooling and features rather than only review code or file tickets.
- Ability to enable other engineers to build securely.
